Mr. Schlesinger serves as Vice President of Asset Management of Latitude Management Real Estate Investors, Inc. (“Latitude”). Mr. Schlesinger manages a variety of asset types in several markets throughout the country. Mr. Schlesinger offers a broad background in real estate management and financial analysis, and possesses a wealth of experience overseeing broker, property management and investor relationships.
Prior to joining Latitude, Mr. Schlesinger was Vice President of Asset Management at Hackman Capital Partners overseeing a portion of its 16 million square foot portfolio. Mr. Schlesinger was responsible for property operations, dispositions, financing, loan workouts, construction management and investor reporting.
Prior to Hackman Capital Partners, Mr. Schlesinger spent five years at Millennium Realty Investors, where he was responsible for the acquisition and asset management of its $85 million industrial and multifamily portfolio. Mr. Schlesinger was also responsible for securing debt (both acquisition and refinance) totaling more than $130 million.
Prior to his post at Millennium Realty Investors, Mr. Schlesinger worked at Cushman & Wakefield as an Investment Sales Broker concentrating on the disposition of multifamily assets with a total value of $130 million. He also spent several years as the Finance and Asset Manager of the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds (MSREF) in Los Angeles, where he managed MSREF’s West Coast investments through its operating partner relationships. Mr. Schlesinger began his career in the Business Assurance (Audit) Group at Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers).
Mr. Schlesinger is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and earned a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
