Mr. Bachenheimer is a Managing Director of Latitude Management Real Estate Investors, Inc. (“LMREI”) and is responsible for formulating strategies regarding loan workouts as well as implementation of such strategies. Mr. Bachenheimer is also responsible for originating investments, including sourcing, pricing, structuring, underwriting and closing equity and debt investments.
Mr. Bachenheimer has more than 12 years of experience in commercial real estate investment banking and asset management. Prior to joining LMREI, Mr. Bachenheimer worked for JRK Residential (“JRK”), where he focused on sourcing and closing potential acquisitions, and the asset management of a portfolio of 23-apartments containing over 5,000-units located throughout the country.
Prior to joining JRK, Mr. Bachenheimer was an associate director in the commercial mortgage group at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc., where he closed more than $600 million of floating and fixed-rate securitized commercial loans.
Mr. Bachenheimer was also an appraiser at Cushman & Wakefield and a consultant within the hospitality finance industry. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University.
